Tunnel watcher

The SMAAC company ( www.smaac.it ) entrusted us with the revamping of the system called Tunnel Watcher ( www.tunnelwatcher.it ).

The system manages the counting and reporting of workers present on a tunnel excavation site.

Revamping involves switching from obsolete active RFID beacon technology to BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) technology.

Functionality

In practice, the developed system allows you to manage in the Cloud:

• the construction sites

• the workers

• the access points to the tunnels

While near the Tunnels:

• BLE antennas detect workers' entrances and exits

• each worker is equipped with a BLE technology badge

• Outside the gate there is a display indicating the number of workers present
