Dynamic ID SrL has created a complete solution for the management of data room assets: “ Racks, Servers, Equipment, Cables ”.

The application is composed of three modules:

• Web Application;

• Database;

• Mobile APP.

The Web Application has the following features:

• Interface developed in HTML5 Responsive language, with page update function using AJAX technology.

• Technologies used: Java 7, Jsp, Servlet, Javascript, Ajax, AngularJS, POI, Jasper Report, ORMLite and other Free and Open Source libraries and technologies.

• Application Server: Apache Tomcat 7.

• User profiling: Each user category can view and/or edit pages based on their access rights. We expect a minimum of two categories: Administrators and Operators.

• User Registry Management.

• Importing Asset Master Data from the external HP-uCMDB management system.

• Export data from all possible master data in Excel format.

• Filtered search within each profile based on specific filters set by the user.

• Export filtered data to Excel.

• Viewing a specific device's card, displaying:

  • The status of the device;

  • Device details;

  • All historical data collected by operators via the Mobile APP (information on

  • issues encountered and known);Information about the movements of the device from one location to another.

The Database has the following characteristics:

• DBMS: SQLite to ensure the best integration with Android mobile devices.

• Batch procedures for database synchronization, export and import.

The Mobile APP has the following features:

• Development in Android Java technology

• Graphics compatibility with devices similar to the Samsung Galaxy Advance: Minimum resolution 800×480 px;

• Interfacing with NFC technology, which cell phones are equipped with;

• Ability to read and write NFC RFID tags;

• Database import in SQLite format: communication with the Server for data download;

• User profiling: only users recognized with a login and password will be able to open the APP and only some of them will be enabled to write Tags;

• Export data collected in the field in SQLite format or by interfacing directly with the Web Application;

• The application must allow the reading of RFID tags, through which the Racks and Devices will be identified and the position for each of them must be validated or configured.
